IN THE FOOTSTEPS of Smith Wigglesworth

TWENTY-ONE
“God wants us to be so devoted to Him that He can unveil Himself.  He rolls the clouds away; the mists depart at His Presence.  God is almighty in His movements.  He has immensity of wisdom, unfolding the mysteries and the grandeur of His Plan for the human race, that we may sink into insignificance, and that His Mightiness may move upon us until we are the sons of God with power.  Oh, this wonderful salvation.  It is beautiful!”

I will fully reveal Myself to those who are Mine.  When you are willing to obey I will speak My Plan to you.  Ask that your heart be made fully Mine and ready to be obedient to all that I speak.


TWENTY-TWO

We must catch the vision of the Master day by day.  We must destroy everything that is not holy, for God wishes to seat us on high.”

“Through a constant fellowship with the Father, through bold faith in the Son, through a mighty anointing of the blessed Holy Spirit, there will come a right of way for God to be enthroned in our hearts, purifying us so thoroughly that there is no room for anything but the divine Presence within.  And through the manifestation of this Presence, the works of Christ and greater works shall be accomplished for the glory of our triune God.”

TWENTY-THREE
“You must have a brokenness to get into the depths of God.”

“And we must give all, yield all, as our great Refiner puts us again and again into the melting pot.  What for?  To lose the dross, that the pure gold of His Presence be clearly seen and His glorious Image reflected –– from glory to glory even by the Spirit of the Lord.  We must be steadfast, immovable, until all His purposes are accomplished.”

“We must live in the fire; we must hate sin; we must love Righteousness; we must live with God, for He says we have to be blameless and harmless amidst the crooked positions of the world.  Beloved, I look at you tonight, and I say God is able to confirm all I have been speaking about trials and testings, which are the greatest blessings you can have.  God wants to make sons everywhere like unto Jesus.  Jesus was a type of the sonship that we have to attain unto.  I don’t know how I feel when I am speaking about the loftiness of the character of Jesus, Who was a firstfruit to make us pure and holy.  And I see Jesus going about clothed with power.  I see likewise, every child of God in this place, clothed with power, and I see every detail.  Jesus was the firstfruit and I know that is the pattern of God.

God has not given us a pattern which would be impossible to copy.  Beloved, He hated sin - which is the greatest luxury we can have in our lives.  If I have a hatred for sin, I have something which is worth millions of pounds.  Oh the Blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanseth us from all sin.  Beloved, I feel somehow that that is the hope of the church for the future –– being purified, made like unto Jesus, pure in heart, pure in thought.  Then when you lay your hands upon the sick, satan has no power.  When you command him to leave, he has to go.  What a redemption!  What a baptism!  What an unction!  It is ecstasies of delight beyond all expression for the soul to live and move in Him Who is our being.”

All that I do is to bring you into perfect communion with Me so that we may be One.  All that I remove from you will cause you to seek the pure, the righteous, the honorable so that we may move forward as One.  All that you give up is as nothing compared with all that I have in store for you.  Ask Me to thoroughly cleanse you until all that you desire is Me and My Love.
