National Day of Prayer

Dear President Bush,
     Words from a "Senior Advisor":
"There once was a boy who swam in the sea
He swam amongst the fish and great creatures of the deep
He knew not fear
He was at home - at one, with this great ocean
until one day a ship sailed close by his swimming circle
The ship did not look evil, but what came from it was evil
The men on board poured poisonous liquid into the sea
The boy could not believe his eyes
He yelled at the men, but they laughed at the swimming boy
for surely how could he stop them?
They were killing the fish and it would also kill the boy,
if he did not leave . . .

What does this remind you of?
New Orleans lies in the muck, the mire---simply put, poisonous water
You cry out for help
How could a whole city drown in a day?
But it happens
Now, how can you truly help and yet, remove yourself from the poison?
You set aside a Day of Prayer
Will I hear you?
It depends on what you pray
I told you what I wanted you to pray - Psalm 51
I want repentance for action - true repentance
I want them to stop "polluting the water"
I want them to clean up their filth
I want them to stop mocking My Ways and My Laws
with their constant sin and denial of My Truth
I want you to stand and reveal to the people why one large, historic city
represents their lives and how far they have fallen
from greatness and protection
I want you to lead the people back to Me
Will you?
It's highly unlikely, but I do want you to always know what I want
so that when you pray for Me to bless this nation
you will know why I refuse to
It's simple - you know that
We can stop the filth, but you have to put your reputation on the line
A National Day of Prayer surely does not impress Me
unless you're willing to pray in alignment with My Will
Show this to your religious advisors
They need to know where I stand and why I won't help
until My Criteria is met
They need to become fully accountable,
along with you, for this nation's health

The stock market will be hit soon and never really recover
Iran will strike one day
The East Coast will be "struck flat"
California will surely be dealt a blow for their sins and research
Countless cities will be destroyed due to new storms, viruses, outbreaks
There will be school closures, even nationally across the board
from elementary through college
Poverty will become the by-word in these United States
No one will be secure - no one will feel safe
You can only protect this country through your prayers and then action
To do the action first, without My Blessing
I will literally tear any progress apart
Try Me!

There's much coming . . .
much you could fix
if you would truly lead the people back to Me
I will give you incentive
I propose a deal
Do people make deals with the President of the United States?
At times
But, I AM GOD and you will surely know it with this Proposal

You are the boy who swims in the sea from the story
As you continue to allow the country to follow after their gods and not Me
In other words, as you allow them to pollute/poison this country
You will be caught in the midst in ways which only I can help
No other deal to make
You are the leader - I deal with you
Fully and truly pray Psalm 51 daily and teach this nation to
. . . . or fully and truly "swim in its filth"

And so, My servant trembles with these words
She is bold, yes, but not unto words such as these for the President
I speak Truth
I speak Life to those who follow Me
I speak death / sickness for those who follow other gods

You work and slave to finish the work in Iraq
I wanted to be an Advisor all along
but I was not consulted
I could have revealed so much, and yet, you preferred
to bungle through and lose so many lives
You can go alone, young President, or you can have My Help
Depend on your advisors, alone and you will know solid grief
and constant death in Iraq and the United States
Counsel with Me and I will show you ways of Life and Healing and Peace
Your choice
Every day people die
You can stop it
Will you . . . in time?

My response to your Day of Prayer:
Read the Book of Nahum with Laura and ask her what she thinks
you should do to make things right and lead this nation,
preventing further punishment
You ignore the greatest gift I've given you, your wife, to take advice
from those whose only merit is that they want you to "look good"
Your wife wants more than that
She wants you to be a hero - to be a real man - an honest man
Your children need to be able to be proud of their father

BTW -  Your offers through your speech, Thursday, will never come to pass
The next "storm" {RITA} arrives before you
can hide Mr. Cheney away again
The "storms" will come and come and come and stay
until I get what I want
You can make promises, but it will simply cause your ratings to drop
drastically when the people realize that they will not come to pass
The people cannot be fooled all the time
It is time to take true responsibility for your lack of allegiance
to those caught in the storm
Come to Me and I will tell you how
Do not consult with your religious advisors,
thinking that they know My Heart
They don't
They know Scripture and principle and precept
but in the heart, many are as dead as most politicians
No, son, if you want the answer to the real questions
You have to come to Me as I have told you now
for many years through My servant
Time's up - the tests come and come and come
How many people can you save from the 'storms'?
It depends on how 'tight' you become with Me
No other way out of this struggle
You begged to be President once more
I told you that no one would want to be President these four years
if they knew what was going to occur
Listen to the words I speak
Read them over and over and over
until you know that you, My friend, are 1st accountable to Me,
and I will help you keep this nation safe
This country has no safety net, now
not until you claim Psalm 51 and teach the people to do the same

National Day of Prayer . . . I'm listening . . . .
but are you really saying anything?"
