GO!

ENTER HIS GLORY!

The doors were huge and crudely constructed
They were darkened and scarred
from apparent age and wear
I stood in front
feeling so small in comparison
wondering what significance
these doors played to my request
I had asked to see
GOD'S GLORY
to enter His Holy of Holies
I felt, instead,
like I was on the outside of an old barn
I asked again,
honestly believing that GOD
had not listened well
and provided the wrong Vision
this time
"May I see Your GLORY?"

The doors opened wide
and a brilliant golden light exuded
enveloping me and drawing me into its
PENETRATING GLOW!

As I walked through the doors
I could see the Throne of GOD and
GOD'S massive Hands
reached out
to take hold of mine
GOD'S GLORY WAS CONSUMING!

As I laid upon the floor having this Vision
I
could
not
contain
the
GLORY!!!

I    y e l l e d !

Not out of pain or fear
but
out of
TOTAL AWE!!!

HE
WAS
LIGHT
POWER
GLORY
DOMINION
CREATOR
LIFE
and
I stood in His Midst!

I inquired about the doors
Why weren't they gold or silver
to better depict
His
Majesty, Sovereignty and Wealth?

He replied
"ONLY THE HUMBLE
MAY ENTER MY GLORY!
MY SON CAME INTO YOUR WORLD
THROUGH THE STABLE
FROM WHICH THESE DOORS WERE MADE
HE HUMBLED HIMSELF
TO ENTER YOUR WORLD
YOU MUST HUMBLE YOURSELF
TO ENTER MINE!!!"

help me to stay humble
Remind me
daily of the sacrifice You made
to enter our world
All I must do
is bow my heart
You had
to give up
EVERYTHING
for me
ALL
the riches
and
security of Heaven
Thank You
for considering me
worth the risk!
Cause me
to risk
my life
my reputation
my riches
my security
my ALL
for
You!
You are the King
 but You
humbled Yourself
to come
as a baby
into
our world

I will humble myself
as a little child
to come
into
Your
GLORY!
