ONE BAPTISM ~ ONE LIFE

I believe
that the church has for
TOO LONG
confused the method of Baptism
with GOD'S ultimate Purpose
in Baptism

Baptism is meant to be
the joining of our life
with the
LIFE of JESUS

We surrender
at the Cross
identifying with His death
and then we
RISE UP
in
THE RESURRECTED LIFE!

The water, itself, is incidental
It is the heart that is truly immersed
into the
very
Heart of the Father!

People have been
sprinkled
half-immersed
completely immersed
had water poured over them
etc.
but the method
does not always reflect
the inner surrender
of the
heart, soul and body

Baptism joins us
with the
ONE
Who
considered us
WORTHY
of
HIS LIFE
laid down!

ONE BAPTISM
INTO
ONE LIFE --- HIS LIFE!!!

Let's begin to
CELEBRATE
Baptism
as it was
designed to be!

It is
not only
the joining of our life to the
LIFE of JESUS
but
it joins us
with
His Church
His Body!

We, too often
separate ourselves
from others in the Body
over matters which were meant
to bring us together!

Baptism identifies us
as
ONE!
ONE BODY!
ONE BAPTISM!
ONE LIFE!

do we
appear
ridiculous
to You?
We take
an act of
CELEBRATION
and use it to divide
Your Body!

Forgive us!

Enlighten us to Your Truth
to Your Way
of Thinking
to Your Way
of bonding
us together!

Touch us
with Your
LIVING WATER
in any way
You choose
but
remind us
that You
are looking
at the
heart!

WE
CELEBRATE
OUR
ONENESS
IN
YOU!

BAPTIZE US!
