THE ANOINTING

HOW TO WALK IN JESUS' NAME

YOU WILL SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES
YOU SHALL LAY YOUR HANDS
UPON THE SICK
AND THEY SHALL RECOVER
ALL THESE THINGS
YOU SHALL DO IN JESUS' NAME"

The song brought me back
to the night of November 9, 1994
The pastor approached
His Anointing
drawing me
into
GOD'S PRESENCE
I heard
GOD'S VOICE
clearly
as I went down

"YOU HAVE HONORED ME AND I WILL HONOR YOU
YOU WILL ALWAYS KNOW MY VOICE
TODAY IS A SPECIAL DAY
IT IS THE DAY OF YOUR ANOINTING!"

I felt
ELECTRICITY
consume my entire being
and a
COVERING
placed upon me
A Mantle

Two hours passed
before
I could move again
As I rose
I did not know
what an Anointing was
but I knew
I would
never
be the same!!!

GOD
had
touched and consumed
me!
I was sealed
into
His Plans and Purposes

Three days passed
before I could
eat or sleep

I
was
CONSUMED
into
HIS PRESENCE

ENVELOPED
in
HIS LOVE

ELECTRIFIED
by
HIS POWER

ENTHRALLED
by
HIS WORDS
of
LIFE
to
me:

"I, THE LORD, HAVE CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS;
I WILL TAKE HOLD OF YOUR HAND
I WILL KEEP YOU AND WILL MAKE YOU
TO BE A COVENANT
FOR THE PEOPLE AND A LIGHT
FOR THE GENTILES
TO OPEN EYES THAT ARE BLIND
TO FREE CAPTIVES FROM PRISON
AND TO
RELEASE FROM THE DUNGEON
THOSE WHO SIT IN
DARKNESS."
ISAIAH 42:6-7

Many months have passed
and the
Anointing
continues to
ENVELOP
PERMEATE
ELECTRIFY
EMPOWER!

The Anointing
is the
POWER AND COMMISSION
to walk
the
"Jesus Walk"

It's
the
PASSION
to press-on
when everyone tells me to
"STOP!"

It's
the
INVIGORATING MOTION
that prevents me from sleeping
HIS PRESENCE
SUSTAINS!

It's
the
CALLING
to return to His Arms
for
Strength, Love, Grace and Mercy
to be able to continue
when the road
is so
very narrow
and
no one
chooses to walk
alongside me

It's
the
POWER
to
cast out demons
break curses
heal diseases
and
claim territories back
from
the enemy

It's
the
COMMISSION
to
surrender
to the
Holy Spirit
and
allow Him
COMPLETE
and
TOTAL RULE
and
REIGN
of
my life!

The ANOINTING
is
the
SPIRIT of my JESUS
upon me!!!

GOD
it has now been
10 years
since that night in November
I understand
the Anointing much better now
I thank You
for Your extreme Faithfulness
to this servant!
I thank You
for teaching me through these years
how to become Your friend
and ultimately,
how to become Your Bride
I ask
that You would continue
to infuse me with
MORE
than
I can hold

We still have
a whole generation to raise up
to become Your Bride
May You be pleased
with my heart
in
ALL
ways
Thank You
for
Your
EXTRAORDINARY GIFTS

I used to be lonely
because
Your Gifts
set me apart
from
everyone else

Now, my Friend
I
am
THRILLED!!!
