THE ESCAPE

The escape is not what you have planned

For your sins are too many

You count the days until your freedom
But true freedom will not be had
Not in this space
Not at this time

We have spoken of areas of the heart

Which must be changed

But you refused

We have met together in wide open spaces

And looked for the dream

Which was meant to be yours

But you brought too much baggage

On the Journey

You would not tame the giant within

That sought to take from others

Instead of giving

You would not address all that grieved My Spirit

And now, you wait, with head lifted toward Heaven

You wait for a sign

You wait for peace

You wait for guidance

You wait for provision

You wait and wait and wait . . .

But we will not wait together

We will not seek to walk the same road

You have other plans

You have other ideals

You have other desires

Than Mine

There is a marked EXIT

It is right in front of your face

And it is easy access

So easy

In fact, you will walk right through the door

In the days to come

Thinking, believing, hoping

That it leads to blessing

But as I said, your sins are too many

For that form of escape

I would have Breathed Life into you

If you had accepted the death

I put before you

But you shudder at pain, at any form of sacrifice

You wanted gain, wealth, pleasure, peace of this world

You wanted what you wanted

And son, you sold your soul for it

Enter through the EXIT

It is time

It is actually past time

Decreed and prophesied

But you cannot fault Me for extending Grace

This long

It is My Will that none should perish

And I do all that I can to insure knowledge of the Truth

But you still must receive it

You must embrace it, giving up all falsehoods

You must cater to its high ideals

And you must submit to its proclamations

EXIT the play

There won’t be another one

But at least, you won’t be in the way

Of the others who choose Life

Who choose obedience

Who choose sacrifice and love

You will no longer be in the way . . . .

I decree this day!
