ESCAPE THE CHAOS
How can you escape the chaos
when so much of it comes from within?
"If only people would do what I want them to do,"
but would that really solve the problems?
Everyone has a road they choose to follow
Depending on the "baggage" you take with you,
there will be trouble, sorrow, hatred
OR
peace, prosperity, truth
on the way

1st - Minimize the "baggage"
by letting go of what keeps you from succeeding
How do you know all that entails?
Well . . . you don't . . . you can't . . .
but there is One who does know
who chooses good routes for us
and helps us stay on

Ask the Master Surveyor to remove from you
all that hinders you from becoming
the "mountain"
the "fortress"
which you are to be
He will do this work, in time, --- His Time
and the load upon you will lighten
Your perspective will change
and it will be so much easier to
take step after step
following the Right Highway

He has a Plan
you just need to agree to it
and let Him remove the "baggage"
and set your feet in step
perfect step
in His Steps

Footsteps sound in the darkness
who is that?
I turn and twist and look and squint
but see nothing
perceive no one
remain
stalked
the path grows slippery
I am fading away
the sorrows continue
day after day
the fear that prods my soul
will not be forgotten
the peace that draws my heart
is still out of sight
I feel it linger a moment
just outside my door
I hear it whisper
of something a lifetime ago
I know it is there
do I seek it
or does it pursue me?
sometimes I run away
but its hope returns to comfort me
when I am still and quiet
and too tired
to chase life
is it close
or farther away than before?
I know I've walked this path
a million times before
but something is new
something is different
someone is behind me
I dare not stop to rest
time is my foe
safety a memory
beauty a fallen tear
