DAY 3 -- 09/09/09

”What is repentance?  Is it simply words spoken, forced by others to cause appeasement? 
Is it an appeasement which does not strike the heart with true sorrow? 
Is it a remembrance of time past; of teachers, parents, adults who stood and waited
for the words; those ‘magical’ words, ‘I’m sorry‘ to turn their frown to a smile?

No, true repentance is setting the heart in total purpose to make all things right - to sever oneself from all that causes the grievance . . . even it necessary, unto death.

What do I look for to once more bless the United States?  Study these verses and ask that I would make you truly repentant of all your crimes against Me:

Psalm 106

DESTRUCTION COMES TO BRING FORTH TRUE REPENTANCE
