OUR SECRET PLACE

GOD has a Secret Place
for Communion and Fellowship
for each one of us
It's a place all our own with the
MOST HIGH GOD

The 1st time I was introduced to mine
Jesus took me by the hand
and we began to ascend a forested mountain
I don't remember the journey
Only that He was with me

When we arrived at the summit
There was a long elegant Table
nestled beneath some tall pine trees
Jesus and I sat at the Table and talked
He offered me Bread and Drink
Even when there were quiet times
There was an unspoken intimacy
A bonding of hearts

I go there often
to discuss the day's activities
To feel His Hand holding mine
To gaze into His Face
and see His Smile of approval
and His Eyes full of delight
that I have come

HE REMINDS ME
THAT MY
APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE
ARE FOUND
IN
HIS PRESENCE!!!

When the journey becomes difficult
Jesus takes me to a different place on the mountain
It's a place of Rest
The field has tall grass with flowers bordering the valley
He beckons me to lie down and relax
He lies nearby and places His Hand
upon my shoulder in friendship
We gaze at the sky and discuss His world
often laughing at His unusual creations
When my mind starts to wander
back to the work I left behind
He suggests we make "grass angels"
They're like "snow angels,"
but you don't get cold and wet
He is forever creative!!!

HE REMINDS ME
THAT MY REST
IS FOUND
IN
HIS PRESENCE!!!

Often times I come to Jesus
so thirsty for His Living Waters
So in need of a refilling
He has just the place for Refreshment
It's a gorgeous, towering Waterfall
We stand beneath the streaming torrent of Water
With our heads tilted back, mouths open wide
Laughing without reason
and trying to drink in the refreshing Water
Finally exhausted from the laughter
I lie beneath the Waterfall
and just soak in the Refreshment

HE REMINDS ME
THAT MY REFRESHMENT
IS FOUND
IN
HIS PRESENCE!!!

The mountain is not just
for Communion, Rest and Refreshment
It is a place of training to Rule and Reign
with the Lord of Hosts
I was given my Priestly robe, Kingly attire,
Sword, Scepter, Signet ring
and Anointing on this mountain
When it's time to go into battle
Jesus approaches on the White Horse
He lowers His Hand to pull me up behind Him
A Sword is placed in my left hand
and with my right
He always reminds me to hold on

Despite the seriousness
of the assignment
He remains
JOYFUL and TRIUMPHANT
Because He knows the result will
ALWAYS be VICTORY!!!
We then descend the mountain
to Rule and Reign
for His Kingdom

HE REMINDS ME
THAT ALL POWER TO RULE AND REIGN
ARE FOUND
IN
HIS PRESENCE!!!

There is a Secret Place
prepared for everyone in
HIS PRESENCE
He's waiting to take each one of us to our Secret Place
We just have to
ASK!

Jesus, I LOVE our Secret Place!
I LOVE how I feel when I am with You there!
I come to be in Your
PRESENCE!
You are my Friend!
You are my Gift!
You are my Reward!
You are my Treasure!

Your Heart, Your Secrets, Your Desires,
Your Secret Place and Your Time
with me!

TAKE ME AWAY
TO OUR SECRET PLACE!!!



ZAPPED
