Mercy falls from Heaven this day

Mercy shown

Mercy lived out

Mercy is what we long for

because we are a fallen race

We have sadly fallen so far
from God's Design

And yet, there are churches
which speak of the Scriptures

They encourage and teach and preach

of a love which they claim
to be of Christ Jesus

but it is a fallen love

an earthly satire

It is ever so sad how mankind
twists the Scripture

to get what they want

A local church offers a series on marriage and relationships

They encourage phrases of ill refute

They speak to their spouses
as if they were prostitutes

and they cajole their people

into believing

that Righteousness is something
which you pretend is present

not something which is actual
Clothing from on High
for the pure in heart

The Pastor speaks his glib phrases,

"The 'lover friend,'
without resentment,
says, 'Hey, baby, I see no flaw.
I see in you the face of God.'”

Are we really suppose to see each other
in such pretense?

The churches are full of people
whose hobby is viewing pornography
dressing to seduce
speaking profanity to fit into the culture
watching TV shows which degrade
God’s gift of sexuality
committing adultery
defaming God’s Bride

But among you
there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality,
or of any kind of impurity,
or of greed,
because these are improper
for God’s holy people.
Nor should there be obscenity,
foolish talk or coarse joking,
which are out of place,
but rather thanksgiving.
For of this you can be sure:
No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—
has any inheritance
in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you
with empty words,
for because of such things
God’s wrath comes on those
who are disobedient.
Therefore do not be partners
with them.
Ephesians 5:3-7

and you’re suppose to actively
face these people
and say,

“Hey baby, I see no flaw.
I see in you the face of God.”
