Earthquake 4:4:4

The earthquakes come
and you feel surrounded
Even when you close your eyes
you feel the ground shaking, trembling

This is the course
This is the final disclosure
This is how it must be
for all your security lies
In what you own

Take a day off to measure
your sure wealth
How much of that will be lost
when the ground cracks beneath us?

There won't be much left
except perhaps what you can carry
on your back

But it did not have to come to this
You planted the seed long ago
with your simple unbelief
and now it has grown
into pure rebellion

You can fall on your knees
You can beg God to save you
You can recite many verses and prayers
but if the earth stopped shaking today
would you return to your folly?

So, the ground will continue to shake,
to crack, to slide apart
until the end of time
for the decisions must now be unchanging
for you to become welcome
into a place of peace and rest

Do not disdain the Judgment of God
for it comes to save
when all other ways have been exhausted

Close to twenty four years
I have been given words by God
to call people to repentance
In that time, less than a handful
have become truly cleansed
and made ready to listen, heed
and obey God

Less than three actually
in twenty four years of work
Can you imagine?
In any field of work
this would not be considered
a success story
But of course, the goal, the purpose
was to speak the Truth, 
defend the Truth
always, always stand for the Truth

The people have surely been tested
the young and old
the wise and those with little knowledge
the poor and the rich
and the response was mostly disdain
for the Truth

So, the ground shakes
the earth trembles
your fortune is lost in a day
and perhaps, you will reconsider
the Truth you have heard and read
I know that God in His great Grace
will bring it to your mind as a plea
Do not continue to harden your hearts
things will not get better
you will not escape the tragic events
of these end times

Less than 3 people in 24 years
Waste of time?
No, because I served God with my whole heart
unto His perfect will
He did not promise me success
only His Hand to hold
