Where have all the cowboys gone? Where are the men of integrity, Godly strength, holiness, passion these days? They should be leading congregations into Truth, but they’re spending their time vacationing, flattering the constituents and seducing their wives and others.
Instead of verses of holiness and consecration, the men of the pulpit use their facebooks and twitters to cajole their wives and others with the words, “gorgeous,” “sexy mama,” “super hot,” “drop dead gorgeous,” “hottie” and the world sits by and waits for the true Bride to appear. What kind of woman would welcome such flattery unless they are competing with the men’s eyes / hearts toward pornography. Men, you believe that you are complimenting your wives publicly, but you’re actually revealing both yours and your wives penchant for perversity.
Enough said about your perverted bents. God will have much more to say on Judgment Day, but for the here and now, I look about and wonder, where are the cowboys? Are there any men walking about this earth who earnestly seek the Face, Voice, Heart of God?
Pastors show pictures of being at the dentist, drinking coffee while on the computer, Yoda from Star Wars, children and grandchildren, their lunch, their favorite eating place, their car, a playhouse they built, etc., while the world waits for the Truth. Does it seem to you that the Pastors are basically just “out to lunch” paid for by your money? You bring your tithe to church hoping that it will make a difference in this world, but if your Pastor is not making a difference, then your money won’t.
Where are the true men of God who sacrifice their lives to preach the Gospel? Where are the men who will lay down all that encumbers them to walk in holiness, preach holiness and require holiness from their congregation? Anything, absolutely anything goes now within the churches of “christianity.” Grace is preached to cover all your sins and the Pastors give you a license to do whatever pleases your little heart promising you that God has already paid for all your sins. But, what he doesn’t tell you is the Truth of John 15. He doesn’t tell you that you have not been truly transformed and you are on the path to Hell if you continue in sin. He doesn’t want to offend you, because he desperately needs your money to stay on his “vacation.”
And that is how it will end in these United States. The Pastors will continue to preach their worthless, although encouraging sermons to people who simply come to get a free coffee. (Disclaimer: Some churches only offer FREE coffee to first time visitors) Nothing of true Christianity will be accomplished, because the role model, the Pastor, himself has never been redeemed, transformed, consecrated unto God.
There are many clues. There are so many signs of apostasy, but your eyes will not see what you are determined to mask. We can all blame the Pastors of the land, but truly, you are the one who chooses to attend and follow. You have easy access to a Bible. Read the Gospels.
Darkness is coming, yes, even as your Pastor continues in his quest for money, fame, sexual pleasure, twitter and facebook followers. The Pastors will not change at this point. They have everything that they want. You give it to them. You have created a monster, for which, the Bible calls the “Beast.”
Darkness comes rapidly . . . your Pastor will not have any answers to your questions when you have no place to live, no job, no money, your children are sick and dying and you only know hopelessness. In fact, if you no longer bring your money to church, you may find that you are no longer welcome. Money feeds the “Beast.” Always has, always will. Your money feeds the “Beast.”
Where have all the cowboys gone? Where are the men of Truth? Who dare speak against the churches of this day? I will, but I am always aware that I am a woman doing a man’s job.
PROCLAMATION FOR TODAY: EZEKIEL 33
Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’
“So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
“Therefore you, O son of man, say to the house of Israel: ‘Thus you say, “If our transgressions and our sins lie upon us, and we pine away in them, how can we then live?”’ Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’
“Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: ‘The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.’ When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die. Again, when I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right, if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
“Yet the children of your people say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ But it is their way which is not fair! When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die because of it. But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he shall live because of it. Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, I will judge every one of you according to his own ways.”
And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me and said, “The city has been captured!”
Now the hand of the Lord had been upon me the evening before the man came who had escaped. And He had opened my mouth; so when he came to me in the morning, my mouth was opened, and I was no longer mute.
Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Son of man, they who inhabit those ruins in the land of Israel are saying, ‘Abraham was only one, and he inherited the land. But we are many; the land has been given to us as a possession.’
“Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “You eat meat with blood, you lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood. Should you then possess the land? You rely on your sword, you commit abominations, and you defile one another’s wives. Should you then possess the land?”’
“Say thus to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “As I live, surely those who are in the ruins shall fall by the sword, and the one who is in the open field I will give to the beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the strongholds and caves shall die of the pestilence. For I will make the land most desolate, her arrogant strength shall cease, and the mountains of Israel shall be so desolate that no one will pass through. Then they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have made the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.”’
“As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, ‘Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord.’ So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them. And when this comes to pass—surely it will come—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.”
I sat in church 18 years ago when God spoke to me to tell the Pastor that it’s time to “clean house.” How could this responsibility have fallen to me, I wondered. There were many abled men in the congregation, many men who read their Bibles and taught others. I was simply a married woman with 2 small children. But, when I heard the words from God, I could not deny them or deny Him. God spoke to me that the Pastor was stealing money from the missionaries and outreach program from the church and that He would not bless them until they made things right financially. Surely, this was none of my business. Surely, someone who actually saw the accounting books would report the crimes. But, no, God then told me that if I did not speak up and speak to the Pastor that I would be accountable for the thievery. Was that a threat? Does God threaten His people? I did as God spoke and because I did, I lost my church, my husband, my parents, my house, my money, my friends and all that was important to me. This, my friends, is why men don’t / won’t stand up and preach the Truth. Since that time, the Pastors that I have known have kept their churches, friends, money, houses, family and grown in popularity, status, and are honored among the people.
The Truth isn’t spoken, because it is costly to speak the Truth. The Truth isn’t spoken, because the losses are incredible. The Truth isn’t spoken, because the payback isn’t here and now. The Truth isn’t spoken, because the heart of man betrays the Truth and only redeemed, transformed people will speak the Truth at all costs. If your Pastor is not speaking, living the Truth, it is because he is not born of God. Simple.
Where have all the cowboys gone? Where are the true Christian men? Will we see any in this time or will the women have to do their work?
Unto God is due our allegiance, our hearts, bodies, souls and spirits. If we fail to speak Truth then we are not of God and will not be part of His Kingdom on that last day.
SUMMARY: THE BOOK OF JUDE
Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen
Being an avid bicyclist, I was reading bicycle news on the Internet this evening and found this.
Sad news for the bicycling world, but sadder still for those who won’t know until the very end, after years and years of devotion to the sport that they have lost it all in complete shame. How much worse will it be for those who stand behind a pulpit belting out sermon after sermon, years upon years, to find their titles, honor, reputation, name, eternal life stripped from them when they stand before the Throne and God reveals to them that they have not been truly born of His Kingdom. It’s all been a masquerade, a good masquerade, but still a masquerade. Hasn’t Lance Armstrong entertained us for years on end and yet, he came from a place that was not his own merit. The Pastors speak and write, but the advantage to their success is that they never encountered the Cross. They never laid it all down in surrender. They never died to themselves, their pride, their pursuits, their desires, their hopes and passions. They preach and teach from the standpoint of gain, not loss.
Will you wait until you stand before the Throne of God and He strips you of everything so that you can enjoy the masquerade which you embody here on earth? Lance Armstrong would surely do it differently if he had the chance and knew the outcome. But let’s not forget the human heart and it’s greed for recognition and success. The Pastors of the United States are compelled by greed to gain what they truly have not earned. Judgment Day is soon and they will be stripped publicly and we won’t have to wait for their time before the Throne to know what God thinks of them. He will literally make them a public spectacle. It will be no different for all who follow them.
