STEPS OF GRACE
"The end result of mercy,
that my tongue and my heart

As the planes hit the twin towers in New York,
September 11, 2001, the citizens of the United States
called out for mercy, for the 'Grace of God.'
"Grace –– being calm, being rational. in . . . the face of catastrophe, chaos . . . is something . . . that not a lot of people can do, but . . . perhaps, um think we can do.
Something so hard to obtain that people don't realize
how hard it is to actually have it ––
um, have it in yourself. Almost, perhaps, unattainable.
But that strive to achieve it is something that's very
courageous, on whoever's part that wants to try to,
to go down that path to achieve grace,
but I really think it's something that's, um, that's humanly
a very improbable thing to achieve.'

September 11th the view from a high school at ground zero
I set GRACE upon the Table
but the people refused to come with clean hands to eat
They returned to their "idols"
Seven years pass
Seven long years in My people's hearts and minds
The laborers return to their labor
The workers to their work
The children to their schools
The ministers to their church
but few remained with Me
Few sought My continual Guidance
or cried out for pure Justice and Freedom in the land
The senseless killings, were in many ways,
forgotten, or so, their lesson was

Once more I hear cries for My Grace
Why?
The economy of the United States is in turmoil
and yet, there has been no observance of My Will
no seeking of pleasing Me

My Grace is to be well-spent,
upon those who will truly come before Me,
broken and contrite and ask
to be filled, made new, restored and revived
with the very essence of My Being
All else is religion, rules, logic;
the Tree of Knowledge, not the Tree of Life
Choose wisely, for in this day and in this time,
My Bride will surely have My Heart
and the world will know Me
because they have seen and known
