ONE SOLID STEP into ...............

ETERNITY

I   CARE   FOR   YOU

I promise to pray for you:

Lord Jesus, I submit every person who reads this page to You.  I ask You to cleanse them with Your Blood, releasing them from all Satan's holds, lies, power, darkness and covering.  I ask You to cause their heart to hunger to know You; to see their sin as the reason that they are far from You.  Please cover them and protect them as You draw them to Yourself.  Allow them to know Your Presence in a way that is real to them so that they will ache to know You; to surrender to You; to be found in You.  I submit myself to You and ask that You would use me, in any way You desire, to bring them to saving knowledge of You. I stand in the gap for them and ask You to draw me to Your Throne Room in prayer and supplication for them, as often as is necessary, to bring forth Your Perfect Will in their lives.  Thank You for the privilege of abiding in You and allowing me to offer You this gift.  May they know You as You long to be known.  May they know the depth of Your sacrifice for them.  May they love You with their whole heart, soul and being.  May they fully surrender to You and abide in You bringing forth a harvest of many.  God, please open their heart to Your Love now and quicken them to Life in You.  May we become One in You.  Impassion us to bring You into every situation, every life, every thought so that You may be Lord as we call for Your Kingdom to come here on earth as it is in Heaven.

TAKE THIS STEP WITH ME:

cONFESS SINS
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:8-9

"I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,' And You forgave the iniquity of my sin."

Psalm 32:5

"How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep Your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer."

Psalm 19:12-14

Father God, I know that I have sinned against You and broken Your Commands, Your Laws of Righteousness.  I ask You to forgive me and cleanse me from all sins, all unrighteousness, all that grieves Your Holy Spirit and keeps us apart.  Create in me a new heart and a right spirit so that I will be pleasing to You.

SIN

ACKNOWLEDGE JESUS' DEATH ON THE CROSS AS PAYMENT FOR MY SINS

"And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."

1 John 2:1-2

"In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

1 John 4:9-10

"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying: 'I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.'  And again: 'I will put My trust in Him.'  And again: 'Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.' Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted."

Hebrews 2

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 6:23

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Father God, I believe that You sent Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for my sins so that I can be set free to live my life filled with Your Righteousness and Love.  I thank You for the unspeakable gift of Your Son and for granting me the opportunity to know You, to love You, to serve You in the fullness of this new life, free from the slavery of sin and death.

REPENT OF SINS, REBELLION TO GOD'S LAWS AND LOVE

"I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against Me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against Me."

Jeremiah 33:8

"Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel.’”

Mark 1:14-15

"Unless you repent you will all likewise perish."

Luke 13:3

"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the Presence of the Lord."

Acts 3:19

"For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to Salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death."

2 Corinthians 7:10

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."

2 Peter 3:9

Father God, I thank You for convicting me of my sin and leading me to repentance.  I choose to repent and fully turn from my sin to face You and Your Holiness.  I ask You, this day, to cleanse me of all sin, to remove my desires for sin and to cause me to turn wholeheartedly toward You and be filled completely with Your Holy Spirit.  I decree that sin will no longer have dominion over me or cause me to depart from Your Goodness.  Join me to You as a thriving vine that I may take my full nourishment from Your Word and from Your Spirit within me.  May I be Holy as You are Holy.

EMBRACE THE FULL TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

John 1:1

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

2 Timothy 3:16

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to
my path."

Psalm 119:105

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

Hebrews 4:12

"Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.  For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood."

Acts 20:26-28

"I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

Hebrews 8:10

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”

John 16:12-14

"You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life."

John 5:39-40

Father God, You have given us Your Word and spoken through Your Holy Spirit to men of old so that we may know Your Ways.  Teach us Truth.  Bind our hearts to Yours to know the Word as You desire. Inscribe on our hearts Your Ways and Your Laws of Love so that we may discern Truth from error and walk in the fullness of Your Holy Spirit.

FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND MASTER, SURRENDERING ALL

"Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, 'Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?'

So Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.  You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And he said, 'All these things I have kept from my youth.'  So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, 'You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.'  But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.  And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, 'How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the Kingdom of God!  For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.'”

Luke 18:18-25

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.  Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it."

Matthew 13:44-45

"Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish."

Deuteronomy 8:19

"And Elijah came to all the people, and said, 'How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.'”

1 Kings 18:21

"Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.  My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me."

Psalm 63:7-9

"Then He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.' They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him."

Matthew 4:19-22

"'He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
Matthew 10:37-39

"Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.'"

Matthew 16:24-25

"And another also said, 'Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.'  But Jesus said to him, 'No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.'”

Luke 9:61

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

John 10:27

"If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor."

John 12:26

"But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.  More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ."
Philippians 3:7-8

Father God, I choose to follow You, offering my life fully to You for Your Good Pleasure.  I surrender all that I am, all that I have, all that I hope to be to You and ask You to cause me to follow You with my whole heart laying aside every distraction and all that would hinder my relationship with You.  I ask You to be my all in all.

ORDER MY LIFE IN ALLEGIANCE TO GOD AND IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD'S COMMANDS

"Jesus replied, ‘All who love Me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and We will come and make our home with each of them.  Anyone who doesn’t love Me will not obey Me. And remember, My words are not My own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent Me.  I am telling you these things now while I am still with you.  But when the Father sends the Advocate as My representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.’"

John 14:23-26

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love."

John 15:9-10

"Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.  He who says, 'I know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.  He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked."

1 John 2:3-6

"Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"

1 John 5:1-5

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’"

Matthew 7:21-23

Father God, I ask You to set me apart to listen to Your Voice and obey You.  Cause me to hunger for Your Word, to hunger to know You intimately, to hunger to obey Your every command with Great Joy for You have redeemed me and delivered me unto Your Love and Life forevermore.

REDEEM MY PAST

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Galatians 2:20

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Matthew 6:14-15

"Then Peter came to Him and said, 'Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?' Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.  And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.  But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.  The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’  Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.  But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’  So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.  So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.  Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.  Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’  And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.  ‘So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.’”
Matthew 18:21-35

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses."

Mark 11:25

Father God, as my past lies before my mind, I remember so many times when I failed You.  I've lost so much time going my own way.  I ask You to redeem my past and remove from me the core which causes me to want my own way.  Remove from me all that rebels against You and grieves Your Holy Spirit.  I choose to walk in a new way and I ask You to fill me with Your Life so that I may walk as Jesus walked in perfect obedience to You.  I realize that I cannot abide in You if there is any unforgiveness in my life, so I ask You to remove from me all that I hold against anyone because I choose to forgive all who have grieved me.  Set me apart to be a person of new life, new hope, mercy and compassion toward others.  Cause me to love people with Your Pure and Holy Love.

YEARN TO SEE JESUS CHRIST RISEN THROUGH ME IN THE FULL POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION

"...that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.  Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus."

Philippians 3:10-12

1 Peter 2

Father God, may I not settle for anything less than Your Resurrected Life through me. I surrender to You my unbelief, my lack of faith, my striving to prove myself, my desire to accomplish anything on my own and ask You to bring forth through me all that You have promised those who truly believe in You.  Make my life a standard of excellence to show forth the Cross lived out unto the Resurrection.

ONLY WORSHIP GOD

"The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.  And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength."

Deuteronomy 6:4-5

"What does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?"

Deuteronomy 10:12-13

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. ‘All this I will give you,’ he said, ‘if you will bow down and worship me.’  Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’”
Matthew 4:8-10

Father God, I choose to love You with my whole heart, soul and being.  I ask You to fill me so full of Your Love that I will never betray or deny You or place anything or anyone above You.

UNITE IN FELLOWSHIP FIRST WITH GOD

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

John 1:12-13

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”

1 John 1:1-3

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.  Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.  And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

John 17:20-26

Father God, I ask You to bring me into fellowship with You first so that I might know You and be One with You.  Join me, in Your perfect timing, with those of Your choosing of Your Spirit so that we may be One in You.  I ask that we would grow to full maturity in You unto perfect discernment of good and evil so that we would bring forth Your Righteous Reign on this earth, living and declaring that Your Perfect Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Fragments of a Song

Fragments of a song

I heard once

that drifted on a cold breeze

"Isn't it lovely?"

people said

but I didn't understand

I couldn't quite grasp the beauty of it

Fragments of a song

you sang for me

the notes

the melody

so familiar now

Fragments of a song

I know the song well now

Fragments of a song

but I see your downcast face

your troubled brow

and I wonder

if you have never heard the song

really heard it

Fragments of a song

it was to me

until I heard the Great Musician play it

and sing

so sweet

Fragments of a song

until the passion filled the notes

until the piercing tones of His Voice became clear

Fragments of a song

until I heard it full and true

until it made my heart beat swiftly

until it brought me to my knees

until it caused me to close my eyes

until I was lost in it

until I was broken by its beauty

Fragments of a song

it is merely notes

until you hear the music alive with the Soul,
the Heart

of the One who wrote it

Fragments of a song

and so you walk away

it doesn't capture you

but, friend,

have you ever heard it how it was written?

"Fragments of a song,"

I wept for the Gospel song

for now it is merely facts

and not truth alive

"The LORD reigns, He is robed in       majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.  Your throne was established long ago; You are from all eternity.  The seas have lifted up, O LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding voice.  Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea --- the LORD on high is mighty.  Your statutes stand firm; Holiness adorns Your house for endless days, O LORD.”
