ASSIGNMENT

He encouraged!

As I pedal my bike to my destination

my desire to answer
GOD'S Call

"DON'T LET ME DRIFT TOO FAR...
KEEP ME WHERE YOU ARE
WHERE I WILL ALWAYS BE RENEWED!
I BELIEVE IN YOU
EVEN WHEN I'M OUTNUMBERED!
THOUGH THE EARTH MAY SHAKE ME
THOUGH MY FRIENDS FORSAKE ME
I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!
DON'T LET ME CHANGE MY HEART!
KEEP ME SET APART!
I DON'T MIND THE PAIN!

When I started this
ASSIGNMENT
I rode my old bike
the kind with no brakes
But I was content
because I was on another
"ADVENTURE"
with
GOD!

He
Promised
if
I would forsake
ALL
for Him
He would take me
for the
"RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!"

As I rode my bike
I felt like
I was riding on the
Wind of His Spirit
symbolic of how He leads me
As always,
I didn't know
the extent of His Plans
but I knew He would reveal
MORE and MORE
as I obeyed

After just a few weeks of riding
He spoke to me

"I WANT YOU
TO BUY A NEW BIKE TODAY
YOU'LL KNOW WHICH ONE"

I returned later that day
with a purple 21-speed, grip shift bike
with the word
"SANDBLASTER"
BOLDLY BLAZED
on the frame
I was elated!!!

GOD
was
RIGHT!
I knew which bike to buy
but didn't know the reason
GOD
explained

"THE BIKE IS CALLED
'SANDBLASTER'
BECAUSE
I AM
CALLING YOU
TO BE A
'SANDBLASTER'
 FOR MY KINGDOM!

DO YOU REMEMBER
WHEN I SHOWED YOU
THE ROCK
STANDING OUT
IN THE MIDDLE
OF THE SAND
AT
THE BEACH?

YOU ARE A 'ROCK'
BECAUSE YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO
WALK IN MY WAYS
AND
I AM
YOUR
'ROCK'!

I WANT YOU TO
'BLAST THE SAND' AWAY
AND FIND
THE OTHER 'ROCKS'!
MY PEOPLE ARE COVERED
WITH THE WORLD'S WAYS
AND THEY ARE
NO LONGER
STEADFAST
AND STANDING OUT
FOR MY GLORY!
I WANT THE
'SAND BLASTED'
AWAY
AND THE
'ROCK'
MY VERY LIFE AND WAYS
ONCE MORE
TO BE
THEIR
'STANDARD'!
I
WANT THEM TO
STAND TALL
AND
STAND OUT
FOR MY KINGDOM!"
