PRAISE JOURNAL
PRAISE JOURNAL
The vision stands as I begin to praise You, my Lord. You call me to rise, but I am lying face-down on the ground unable to rise. I hear Your words to me of Psalm 2 and You take my hand and gently urge me to rise. Indeed, “Blessed is he (she) who takes refuge in You.”
I long to sing and to praise Your Name, to offer a sacrifice of Love. The years have been long and the hatred against me from those who call themselves “Christian” has destroyed my heart. They speak Your Name and they call for Your blessings, but they surely don’t know You and cannot recognize Your Voice. They erroneously believed that if they could silence me then the words which You gave me for them would be null and void. But that’s not the case. I planted every seed and I continue to water each of these seeds with prayer.
Now comes the time to “battle” in a different mode, even more powerful than prayers and decrees. It is the “work” of a pure-hearted Bride worshipping her King, her Lord, her Groom. Please receive this offering, Father, and may my heart cause You Joy beyond all that You have hoped for in those who will be Your Bride.
I play the music and it resounds in my soul and finds my heart empty and lacking. I long to worship You as You deserve, but I fail to find Your Spirit within me. A pure, undivided heart is what I ask You for this day. I remember days of past where I found You and worshipped You wholeheartedly. I miss You, my Friend. I long for You. You have called for me to come and worship, come and write a Praise Journal, but as in all that You call me to do, I have no power. Please cleanse my heart and may I be fully devoted to You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may follow hard after You. Cause this servant of Yours to fully become Your friend, Your Bride. I long for Your Touch and I long to touch You with my worship. Please grant me the fullness of Your Spirit so that I may worship You in spirit and in truth to please You perfectly.
“A pure heart, that’s what I long for
A heart that follows hard after Thee
A pure heart, that’s what I long for
A heart that follows hard after Thee
A heart that hides Your Word so that sin will not come in
A heart that’s undivided, one that You rule and reign
A heart that beats compassion, that pleases You, My Lord
The sweet aroma of worship that rises to Your Throne.”
